Project Scope:  This was not as straight forward of a remodel as it may look. It was an attempt to utilize the model mock up of the new Dekald Medical Center building. This was difficult to price, build and make ready for inspection. Through the pricing phase CRL provided several options for value engineering that the tenant utilized. Because of the experience of the construction of lab facilities, CRL included such things as vinyl clad tiles, flash covered sheet vinyl and FRP that the competitors did not. Identifying materials like VCT and floor tiles on site that could be reused saved the client money. Informed supervision and knowledge of local inspectors helped CRL progress smoothly through the project. The best example of the efficiency was a half page punch list that was completed in two days.
