Project Scope:     Cardiovascular Medicine is a large Wellstar provider in Marietta and it was an esteemed project for CRL. This was the third time CRL had been chosen to provide construction services to the group and this became the largest endeavor between thew two companies. The scope of work included: full nuclear medicine lab, stress testing center and specialized treatment rooms. The construction consisted of multiphase occupied alteration/demolition of an entire floor and of the four-story building; approximately 24,000 square feet. The project required full-time supervision and project management. Weekly meetings with the Practice Director and Managing Partner of the practice helped to keep coordination running smoothly. Virtually every phase required different finishes including solid surfaces, varied wall  coverings and every type of flooring. This project was logistically challenging. Due to the phasing and occupancy during construction, the time line was essential to being maintained. Additional change orders were processed and implemented rapidly as expected; on time and on budget. The biggest compliment in construction is the award of the next project and CRL is proud to say we have since built an additional suite for Cardiovascular Medicine in Douglasville, GA.
