Project scope:     This project survived a whirlwind before it ever started. The building ownership changed after it was awarded and permitted. Then after a year it was re permitted and renegotiated, then the architect went out of business. After waiting all that time and the importance of the two practices to the area, DMC was anxious to have the suites open. The Snapfinger suite was the personal practice of Dr. Duane Barclay, VP of Doctor affairs for Dekalb Medical. He was able to open his suite ahead of schedule, despite many changes and finish additions. The Hillandale Occupational Medicine suite had an x ray room added in the middle of the project. The schedule was altered to accommodate such a change and was completed Mid January 08. Strong communication before and during this project is the only way CRL could make such a spotlighted project occur smoothly. The property management team requested CRL for this project because of the long history with bringing their high profile projects in on time and on budget. CRL has won praise and appreciation for the completed beautiful suites that were designed.
